Hey! We're here to remind you – you are not alone. Living with HIV means being part of a large, warm, and supportive positive community.
The Israel AIDS Task Force offers support, guidance, and maintains a diverse and vibrant community that connects and gathers in various ways:
A secret Facebook group, monthly social gatherings around the country, quarterly events, different discussion groups, and the annual conference – a weekend of workshops, lectures, and plenty of time for fun, relaxation, and meaningful connections. It’s a safe space to share, connect, and meet people who understand what you’re going through.
If you’ve recently received a positive diagnosis, we offer the support of a "buddy" – someone who’s been living with HIV for a while, who understands exactly what you're experiencing, and can lend a listening ear or answer questions to help you get through the first period with ease.
Got a question about insurance, rights, or facing discrimination? The answer is just a message or phone call away. Contact our social community coordinator:

Sure, life would be easier without the virus. But if it’s here – better to face it together.
The Israel AIDS Task Force has been home to the positive community and people living with HIV for 40 years.
